Everywhere I go on the net, I hear comments about how much stupider
the Creatures 2 norns are, than the Creatures 1 norns. Well, they are
actually much, much smarter, you just have to know how to teach them right. People
have said, "They act like they have no idea whats going on." Well, actually,
they are right. They don't. You may teach them eat on the computer, but they only
know how to say it, not how to do it. Here is a few guides to keep your norn from
dying a young age, and to keep you from going insane.
Guide 1:Feeding
Feeding, ahhh, wouldn't it be nice if a norn would eat on its own?
It sure would be more easy. Well, you can't exactly teach a norn to eat
on its own, but you can do the next best thing. Teach them to eat the first time
after you tell them to. Here's how.
Step 1:Teach your norn the words, eat, yes, no, food, fruit, plants, flower, and root.
Step 2:Get any of the edible things metioned in step one.
Step 3:Tell your norn to "eat ____" what ever you chose.
Step 4:If your norn doesn't respond then say it a few more times.
Step 5:If your norn hasn't at least tried to eat the food, then give them one slap.
Step 6:Keep repeating steps 4 and 5 until your norn eats.
Step 7:When your norn does eat the food, pet them a whole lot.
Step 8:Repeat steps 2-7 with the same edible object you chose a couple more times.(or until your norn eats it on the fist
command.)
Step 9:Repeat steps 2-8 with all the other edible objects (except the bad things.)
Congratulations! Your norn should eat on command, and, or, on its own (though I have never seen one eat on its own yet)
